COVID-19

Here at RM Pediatrics, we are working towards having the safest yet most convenient options for our patients. We ask that our patients be patient and considerate of the changes which need to be made around the office for the safety of both our patients and our staff. Dr. Manghnani does not want to limit the options of appointments for our patients and that is why she is now offering both in-person and televisits, whichever is more convenient and works best for the situation.  Throughout this pandemic, one thing has remained the same and that is that regular well-checks are highly recommended and while it may seem risky to come in the office we are taking extra precautions to ensure patient safety.

Changes around the office:

We are asking that only one person accompanies the patient(one parent per child), this will minimize the number of people in the office at a time as it is an indoor space, however, this is not necessary

We require that everyone except for young children wear masks to the office, we are unable to provide masks at this time and without masks, we will not be able to see you

Our sick patients and well check patients will have different requirements, depending on the symptoms and we will give different instructions to the sick patients

We ask that all patients knock on the door and wait for a staff member to let them in, we need to check the temperature and ask COVID screening questions

All community used objects are sanitized after every use and the rooms are cleaned after every use, this may cause some delays around the office, however a good way to help prevent long wait times is to come at the exact appointment times, we are trying to have schedule booked so that there are as few patients in the waiting room at a time

We have hand sanitizer around the office at all times, we ask that patients use this as much as possible to help prevent the spread of coronavirus

Waiting room etiquette is quite different, we ask that our patients stay in the places in which we have yellow markers laid down six feet apart from each other

Our office has been cleared to stay open by the Santa Clara County Health Department and we are in accordance with the July 13th order

Looking for information:

With COVID things are constantly changing and new guidelines are constantly coming out, and we understand that it can be difficult to stay up to date with what they are. Below we have linked the CDC which can provide you with the most accurate information on COVID-19 and the Santa Clara County Health Department which will have updated guidelines on COVID-19.
